Our Story
Jimmy & Joe’s opened on October 6th, 2006, but the thought of opening a pizzeria had been in the works for some time. While my daughter was in college getting her degree in Business, she and I would talk of opening a pizzeria. It is Amy and I that run the restaurant today.
When I was in college I started working in the restaurant business and fell in love with it. I loved the excitement, the people, and the satisfaction of customers leaving content. This enjoyment sent me working for National Chains for fifteen years, and then into Food Distribution for ten years. While in the Food Distribution business I met Nick Heddings owner of Arizona Pizza Company in Tucson. Nick and I became close friends and I shared with him my desire and to get back in the restaurant business. It is Nick’s encouragement and great pizza recipe that I am eternally grateful for.
My wife Mary and I wanted to keep it simple. We decided on a limited menu of Pizza, Wings, and Salads & Deserts We wanted room for a small dining area, pick-up counter, delivery and curbside pick-up. We have the Customer Service Motto of: LOOK AT ME

It is the “Serious Slice” and our 24” Big Jimmy that has brought us a lot of attention. The name of Jimmy & Joe’s comes from my son Russell’s nick name Jimmy and mine Joe.
Our desire is for the community to feel like this is their neighborhood pizzeria. We are active in our schools, churches and community organizations and we donate over 10% of our sales to Charities each year.
